I haven’t made a DIY post in a while, and seeing as I cooked Quesadillas for the first time yesterday (they were delicious and I had leftover meat), I decided to cook them again for lunch. I really enjoyed them and thought they were easy to make, so I thought I’d share them with you.
The heat I used to cook everything in the recipe was Gas Mark 2 (300°F/150°C)

1. COOK THE MINCE
My mince was already cooked because I cooked it last night, but all I did was brown it in a pan with a tiny bit of olive oil, add the spice mix that came with the tortillas, added 100ml of water and left it to simmer on a low heat for 10 minutes.
2. MELT SOME BUTTER IN THE PAN
Put a small piece of butter in the middle of the pan and spread around evenly.
3. PLACE THE TORTILLA IN THE PAN
Place the tortilla flat in the pan, making sure you cover it in the butter.
4. ADD YOUR MINCE
Make sure not to use too much mince, or the tortilla won’t close.
5. ADD SALSA AND CHEESE (filling is optional)
It’s completely your choice what fillings you use. Again, don’t use too much filling, or the tortilla won’t close.
Fold the tortilla over and press it down around the edges.
7. LET IT COOK FOR 3 MINUTES
Wait until the bottom has turned golden brown.
Carefully flip the tortilla and repeat step 7.
I served mine with salad.
Be sure to let me know if you enjoyed this cooking post and if you would like to see more in the future.

Two of my favourite youtubers, Kalel and Anthony, have recently started a series of “Taste Tests” where they taste different food that has been recommended to them. As I try a lot of different foods, I thought that it would be a good idea to let you know what kind of foods I try and what I thought of them!
1. NAKED GREEN MACHINE
Flavour(s): Apple, Pineapple and Kiwi
Smell: I quite like the smell of this juice, but there’s something about it that I’m not sure of. The best way I could describe the taste is with the word “green”. You can smell the apple quite vividly too.
Texture: It’s quite thick, but I really like the texture. It’s not quite as thick as a smoothie, but it’s still really smooth.
Taste: I quite like the taste, but, like the smell, there’s something to it that I don’t really like. You can taste the herbs quite strongly a few minutes after drinking it, and I don’t really like that.
2. LIPTON ICE TEA
Smell: It smells really fruity and very much like peach.
Texture: It’s very thin, and has as texture similar to water.
Taste: It has a quite weak taste, and tastes quite similar to peach flavoured water with very slight hints of tea flavour.
3. TESCO WAKE UP SMOOTHIE
Flavour(s): Apple, Kiwi and Strawberry
Smell: You can really smell the apple and the strawberry.
Texture: This smoothie was a lot thicker than the other’s I tried, but I still like the texture.
Taste: The taste of green apple is really strong and it makes the smoothie quite bitter, so I couldn’t finish this one.
4. NAKED BLUE MACHINE
Smell: I love the smell of this drink! It smells exactly like blueberries, and even has some medicinal notes.
Texture: I really like the texture. It’s quite thick, but still thin enough to pass as a juice.
Taste: I love the taste just as much as I love everything else about it! It tastes exactly like it smells, and I really really love it!
5. TESCO SUPER FRUITER
Flavour(s): Blueberry, Red Grape, Raspberry, Plum, Apple and Cranberry
Smell: It smells very strongly of the berries, and I quite like this smell.
Texture: It has a similar thickness to the Wake Up Smoothie, so quite thick.
Taste: I quite like the taste, because it tastes quite a lot like raspberries, but, like the Wake Up Smoothie, it’s very tart and it make my stomach hurt a little bit
Also, RIP to Glee Actor Cory Monteith, my thoughts are with Lea and his family.
