8. What were your favourite fashion/beauty items?

– LUSH SOFT COEUR MASSAGE BAR, RIMMEL EYEBROW PENCIL AND THE BODY SHOP ALMOND CONDITIONING HAND WASH

july update beauty

I’ve become obsessed with Lush fairly recently because of all the natural ingredients and beautiful smells, and on one of my trips to Lush, I bought their Soft Coeur Massage Bar, and needless to say, it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s very moisturising, but slightly on the oily side and takes a while to dry, but that is the only downside. I bought this Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil a fairly long time ago and only used it a few times, but recently I’ve learned how to get the best results with it, and have fallen in love with it! I got The Body Shop’s Almond Conditioning Hand Wash for free when I signed up for their loyalty card in store, and I have been using it all the time ever since, it’s smells lovely and feels really good!

9. What was your favourite song?

– MISS JACKSON BY PANIC! AT THE DISCO

IMG_2601

As you probably know, the first post of the month is usually an update for the previous month, but I still have a few things to prepare for the update post, so I thought I’d do another really easy DIY! I’m sorry it’s the second DIY I’ve done in two weeks,  but I promise that my next post will be the July update!

The heat I used to cook everything in the recipe was 200°C (400°F)

YOU WILL NEED:

(click the picture to enlarge)

1. PUT ALL OF THE INGREDIENTS IN THE BOWL

IMG_2588

Even if there isn’t much mix, it’s a good idea to use quite a large mixing bowl, to avoid mess.

2. MIX

IMG_2589

I used a wooden spoon to mix my ingredients together, but feel free to use an electric whisk if you want.

3. MOULD INTO A BALL AND KNEAD

IMG_2590

Shape the dough into a ball and knead it to make sure everything is mixed properly.

4. ROLL IT OUT

IMG_2592

Make sure you use plenty of flour, otherwise the dough will stick to the worktop.

5. CUT

IMG_2593

It’s completely up to you which shape you make the cookies, I just used the cutter that came with the cookie mix.

6. REPEAT

IMG_2596

Repeat Step 5 until all of the dough has been used.

7. IMPROVISE

IMG_2597

If there isn’t enough dough to make you desired shape, feel free to cut out your own shapes.

8. BAKE

IMG_2599

Put the cookies on a baking tray and cook in the oven from 15 minutes until they’re golden.

9. DECORATE (optional) AND ENJOY

IMG_2607

It’s up to you what to decorate your cookies with, or if you even decorate them at all.

Please let me know if you enjoyed this post, and I’ll continue to make similar ones in the future!
